Bagpipers1.jpg There were lots of bagpipers there. There were contests for piping, dancing, baking, and of course the athletic events themselves.	bagpipers2.jpg More bagpipers :).	BYU_Pipers.jpg The BYU bagpipers. Nothing like bagpipe music to fill you with pride.
Duck.jpg While eating our Haggis we were accosted by this duck. He was nice enough but very demanding. So I shared my roll with him. Half the field filled in first...
Opening_cer3.jpg ...then the other half of the field filed in. Then they had people on the main stage (couldn't get a good shot) sang the anthems for each of the countries represented.	Opening_cer4.jpg After the bagpipers cleared the field in came the clansmen. Each clan represented by its banners and clansmen in highland dress. Pipers up on the mainstage provided the background music for them.	opening_cer5.jpg Everyone was into the spirit. Including this little guy who broke from his clansmen and ran around celebrating his freedom in his kilt.
